The Japanese kanji for "ki" has several translations from mind, spirit, humor, interest, intention, will and heart.  

"Ki" on its own, is amorphous. But in conjunction with other kanji, it has a clearer interpretation and meaning. Leadership is like this. It is a function of your environment both in and outside of work. Evaluating your success as a leader is also like "ki". There are many different approaches. The question is are you using the right approach for you?
